The concept of vertical farming initially took root within the confines of homes, as a means for individuals to cultivate fresh produce in limited spaces. This innovative approach involved stacking layers of plants vertically, using specialized systems that optimized light, water, and nutrients. Today, vertical farming has transitioned from a domestic practice to a prominent player in commercial agriculture. With the larger scale, indoor productions came a need for unique air quality.
To cultivate the optimal environment for growing, humidity, airflow and temperature must be achieved. As growers began to expand, they realized it would take more than a standard HVAC system and installation to meet their needs. A new niche has been carved out in the HVAC world for those who have trained and have the specialized knowledge to design and install the right system for commercial vertical framers.
