Concealing Your HVAC Unit

As much as we love everything HVAC at Quigley, there’s no denying that they don’t make great outdoor decor. Here are a few ways you can conceal your HVAC.

  • Wooden Panels or Fencing- Wooden fences such as lattice can provide an attractive covering. For something more customizable you could also do a DIY wood panel cover. The great thing about this option is that it also provides a protective cover for your unit.
  • Large Plants- Large potted plants may not hide your whole unit, but they will certainly help. If you already have large plants, even better, now they can have a dual purpose. However keep an eye on plant debris entering your HVAC and regularly have it cleaned.
  • Shrubbery- Shrubbery can better conceal your HVAC, but requires more planning ahead. If it is possible to have shrubbery planted near your HVAC, this may be a great option.

If you are unsure if your plans may interfere with your HVAC, don’t be afraid to consult the experts. Go ahead and give us a call.
